Pastor Michael stays consistent with his current studies in the book of Matthew (The Book of the King) as he demonstrates the importance of those long lists of names and begats. Yet, we learn much more than who begat who - we learn why and to what purpose. The only genealogy in the Bible that names women and gentiles as part of the royal legacy of Jesus, a legacy that is ultimately bequeathed to all who will believe in Him.
