Pastor Michael shares some powerful truths about the church at Thessalonica, planted by the Apostle Paul on his second missionary journey. Even though he was only able to remain in the city for about three weeks before some radical Jewish believers stirred up trouble, a church was planted and when he sent Timothy back to check on the baby congregation, he found them flourishing. Paul noted in the first ten verses of 1 Thessalonians that they were especially known for their faith that was working, their love that worked, and their hope that sustained them. May we desire to see the same virtues working in us.

Pastor Bryan has been teaching from the book of 1 Timothy for the past few weeks. This week's message was a lot of things. Informative––a lot of information that many people did not know.  Challenging––gets right in your face about the biblical view of finances. Instructional––he gave very practical instruction on how Christians ought to handle money, whether they have a lot or a little. Great stuff!

February 2, 2020 - FOR A PURPOSE - Pastor Michael Gantt

More than 20 years ago, the leadership at Agape Christian Fellowship sat down and  prayerfully sought God for wisdom to craft a "Statement of Purpose." That purpose reads: "The purpose of Agape Christian Fellowship shall be to WIN, EQUIP, and SEND committed followers of Jesus Christ who will be able to share His gospel from Brattleboro to the uttermost part of the earth."  Over the years, we have sought to walk in the shadow of that purpose in everything we do.  Pastor Bryan asked his dad to take a Sunday morning and refresh our memories about what that purpose is and why we need to continue to walk it out in the day to day ministry of this fellowship. 

January 26, 2020 -SEEKING AUTHORITY - Pastor M. Bryan Gantt

In this message, Pastor Bryan continues his introductory messages to the epistles. During the past couple of weeks or so, he has discussed the Biblical view of authority and authorities and what our response ought to be to those in authority over us. Not a popular type of message in the current culture, but one that must be articulated. The principles presented here are right out of the word of God.
