THE GREAT JOURNEY TO THE RESURRECTION - Part Two - "Jesus Wants To Clean You Up".  Pastor Michael preaches the second message in this series.  Last time he began with the provocative title, Jesus Wants To Kill You.  In this message we will learn to distinguish between the Old Testament "covering" for sin and the New Testament "cleansing from sin."  Next time, Pastor Michael will close the series with the message - "Jesus Wants To Live With You Forever" - Living with a eye toward eternity. 

The Great Journey To The Resurrection Series - Part One - JESUS WANTS TO KILL YOU!  Pastor Michael choses as shocking title for his first message in this three part series. However, he makes a strong case that the pathway to the Resurrection leads straight through the Cross - and the Cross is a place of death, not life.  If we want to participate in the Resurrection of Christ, we must also be made conformable to His death.  No son of Adam can stand before a Holy God, but a son of God through the work of the Cross can approach the Throne of God with Boldness.  Get past the terrifying title and embrace the great Biblical truth Pastor Michael shares in this message.  

THE LION ROARS - PART 3  Pastor Bryan Gantt completes his brief series with this message, as he makes a strong case for a return to a sense of awe and fear before the Lord.  Pastor Bryan has made an eloquent appeal that we abandon our careless familiarity with a Holy God, and bow before Him with great reverence.  

The Lion Roars - Part 2.  Pastor Bryan Gantt continues his series in which he makes an appeal to the Body of Christ that we might return to the Awe and Reverance of which God is worthy.  He is the maker and sustainer of all that is, He is Holy and with great mercy, he bestows upon us His grace and forgiveness.  His Glory is so great that a mortal man would die in His presence EXCEPT for the atonement purchased by Christ which drives the sin from us and replaces it with His righteousness. He is a Great God!

THE LION ROARS, Restoring Reverential Fear and Awe -  Pastor Bryan Gantt brings the first of a series of messages with a great topic for our generation - Restoring a holy fear and awe of God!  Many have become too familiar with God, acting as if he is our Buddy, rather than our all powerful, all consuming God who declares to the Israelites in the wilderness, "He who comes near to me must reverence me."

New England has been embedded with one of the most severe cold snaps in history.  Almost two weeks of sub-zero temperatures and bitter wind chllls. Our furnace could scarecely keep us up to temp in our building in Brattleboro could scarecely.  Yet, we even with a much smaller congregation than usual we had a great service. Good worship, great time of intercessory prayer.  Pastor Bryan brings a very important message on what Jesus meant when He said to His disciples, "Remember me" on the night of his arrest.  Its a brief, but powerful word.  

Chasing the Light - The Fantastic Journey of the Magi

Pastor Michael Gantt concludes the year 2017 with a message that explores the journey of the Magi, the mysterious visitors from the East who showed up on Jerusalem seeking the One who was born the King of the Jews.  He offers a thorough study of their origins and training and how it was they ended up bowing before the King of the Jews.  You'll be blessed.  

There are a lot of folks facinated by their family tree of late. You can do detailed research, DNA tests, and a host of other methods to discover our "roots."  Not all of us are that excited by our ancestral heritage because our tree is filled with failure, betrayal, abuse, and emotional injury.  Instead of focusing on the familiar "birth of Jesus" theme at our Christmas Eve worship - Pastor Michael decided to focus on the Family Tree that led to Jesus.  Interestingly, we find that the family tree of the Savior was filled with a lot of rotten fruit and yet, it exposes the remarkable grace of God as a large cast of unlikelies are found to be nesting there.  If you have been wounded by family curses, this message is for you.  An Ugly Tree in the Soil of Grace.
