Pastor Michael begins a teaching series with 1 John 1:1-5 in which we discover the Purpose of John's writing this little book, his authority to write the book, and an outline of the message of the book. A lot of powerful truth packed into just 5 verses. 

AUGUST 12, 2018, Pastor Michael Gantt - AN EMPTY BOX AND A DESPERATE CRY  I Samuel 4 relates a dark and desperate time in Israel's history when vision was lost and God wasn't speaking anymore.  Under the wicked and lifeless leadership of Eli and his sons, Hophni and Phineas, the nation had fallen into apostasy and was under threat of judgment.  However, in the background, unknown and unseen, God was raising up a new prophetic generation in Samuel.   

July 27 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - THE ARM OF FLESH WILL FAIL  Pastor Michael Gantt preaches a Keynote Address in at the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference in Philadelphia, PA.  In his address Pastor Michael asserts that there is no political solution for the problems of a nation that is under the judgment of God.  Because of the great national sin of America, the rejection of God and His Word, and turning to other gods, America is facing the wrath of God and the only hope is a national turning to God in confession and repentance of sin.  Strong Word.  

JULY 22, 2018 - LET THE HAND OF THE LORD REST UPON ME - Ezra 7

Pastor Michael Gantt draws powerful truths from the 7th chapter of the book of Ezra where in a single, brief chapter the phrase, "the hand of the Lord God was upon him, " is repeated three different times.  Each of us can find hope in the truths unlocked here; especially those of us who want to walk in service of God and desire that His hand would rest upon us. 

JULY 15, 2018 - WORDS TO LIVE BY.  Pastor Michael Gantt shares some teaching on the 5 Solae of the Reformation: Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Solus Christi, Soli Deo Gloria.  After, sharing these great foundational truths of the church, he then throws in a couple of other power house phrases from the Word that speak so much to the church today. Good, solid teaching from the Word. 

JULY 8, 2018 WHEN THE FAITHFUL FAINT - Pastor Michael Gantt shares from the Word of God the importance of perserverance and endurance on the part of the saints as we are encouraged by the Apostle Paul, "do not become weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we don't faint."

JULY 1, 2018 - OUR HERITAGE OF FAITH, Pastors Bryan and Michael Gantt team up for this message for the Independence Day Celebration of America.  Its communion Sunday and the Sunday before the nation celebrates the blessings of living in America. Our Heritage of Faith is a challenging and sobering message brought by a father and son who love our nation and cry out for a return to the values of our founding fathers. 

June 3, 2018 - THY KINGDOM COME - Pastor Bryan Gant.   Pastor Bryan brings a powerful teaching from the Lord's Prayer with special emphasis on the element of the prayer which declares, THY KINGDOM COME.  What does that look like in real life.  What are we really saying, what are we asking from God when we pray, "Thy Kingdom Come."  Great teaching.

May 27, 2018- THE POWER OF LOVE - Pastor M. Bryan Gantt; There was a law written on tablets; heavy and burdensome, impossible to keep. There is a law, written on our hearts filled with the grace to obey.  Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments."  Pastor Bryan brings a most excellent teaching on "keeping the law of Christ" by means of grace.

GUEST SPEAKER - PASTOR STEVE CHASE  -  Always a favorite guest speaker at Agape is Pastor Steve Chase of Greenfield, Massachusetts and director of Connecticut River Concerts.  Steve is an anointed, passionate preacher of the word. We are blessed to share him with you on our Podcast channe.
