Lessons from Lot - Pastor Bryan Gantt brings some important and challenging teaching from the Scriptures regarding the dangers of spiritual compromise. 

Our study of the great doctrines of the Apostle's Creed has brought us to Christmas morning and the great truth that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and Born of a Virgin.  Pastor Michael brings the first part of a two part message entitled, "Born of A Virgin" in which he answers an important question. "What Difference Does It Make?"  The truth of the Virgin Birth is one of the most basic beliefs of the Christian Church and important with regard to our view of the authority of Scriptures. When David's sin with Bathsheba was exposed by Nathan, there was something else exposed - David's heart. His response to the revelation of his sin caused him to repsond to God as a man who was after God's heart.  His sin was exposed in 2 Samuel 12, but his heart was revealed in Psalm 51. Psalm 51 is the prayer of a guilty man, caught in his sin, and broken hearted - not because he got caught, but because he realized the full depravity of his own heart. David sinned when he called Bathsheba to his bed, but he was renewed when he pleaded for the Holy Spirit to come to his side and give him a new heart, a renewed spirit and a fresh start. He teaches that we are not simply petitioners, asking God to bless us and ours - but intercessors who stand before God on behalf of our families, our neighborhoods, community, and nation. Pastor Bryan Gantt continues in our series of teachings based upon the strong doctrinal statements of the Apostles Creed. Last week, he dealt with the difficult subject of Hell. But toay, we look in a different direction as we declare that "Heaven is Real!"

The early church gave themselves "steadfastly" to the Apostle's teaching, and we are warned by the Apostle Paul that we are not only not to depart from the "traditions" and "patterns" of the faith, but that we are to guard them as one would guard a great and valuable treasure. Hell is not a popular message in today's church but the reality of Hell must not be ignored. This morning's message is "There Is A Hell".

Pastor Michael Gantt makes strong declarations in today's message - An Other Spirit.  Launching from Numbers 14 where God declared, "But my servant Caleb who has a different spirit I will bless. . . . "  In this hyper charged political climate, in a world that is disintegrating morally, in a hostile environment where Christianity comes under increasing pressure, we must be of a different spirit - and "other" spirit. This message will challenge you to rise up in with a victorious spirit in a day when many fear defeat. 

Pastor Bryan Gantt presents a very practical exposition of the 12 Chapter of the Book of Romans. Paul begins by declaring, "I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto the Lord, which is your reasonable service of worship - and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind...." Paul then proceeds to display the "marks" of one who has heeded the words of Paul. These issues to not "save," but they do reveal the heart of one who has truly been converted.
