Husbands and wives, Fathers and Children, slaves and masters are the three couplets of instructional wisdom Paul offers. God has a plan and each of us has a part in that plan.  God has established an order for the home that is designed to provide a place of peace, protection, and prosperity. That order has been demolished by the rebellion of sin, but it still makes for a happier home when we understand that in God's plan - everyone is maximized and no one is minimized.
