December 29, 2024 - I'll Do It Tomorrow - Pastor Michael Gantt

Pastor Michael is continuing in his verse by verse, concept by concept study of the Gospel of Matthew (The Book of the King) - with a look at the story of the Scribe who wanted to follow Jesus and another disciple who claimed his desire to follow Jesus wherever He might go. (Matthew 8:10-27) Jesus warns them that it is an uncomfortable life, and inconvenient life, filled with storms they are aspiring to. There is room neither for delay nor comfort in following Him.

Yet, we learn much more than who begat who - we learn why and to what purpose. The only genealogy in the Bible that names women and gentiles as part of the royal legacy of Jesus, a legacy that is ultimately bequeathed to all who will believe in Him.

November 3, 2024 - Exceedingly Righteous - Pastor Michael Gantt

Jesus said to His disciples as he taught on the mountainside in Matthew 6, 7, & 8 - "unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees, you will not see the Kingdom of Heaven." In this entire Sermon on the Mount, Jesus is drawing contrast after contrast between the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdoms of this earth. After He spoke those words, He began to explain what He means by "exceeding righteousness." He not only calls us to see the difference between His kingdom and the worldly kingdom - - He calls us to live the difference. 

October 20, 2024 - THE UNDOING - Pastor Bryan Gantt

Amazing message from Pastor Bryan in "The Undoing," as he deftly leads us through scriptures to show how the work of the Cross is "udoing" all the damage done by the Fall in the Garden of Eden. Of course, that undoing will be completed when Jesus returns - but we see wonderful truths in the Word that tell us that all that was broken by the fall of the first Adam is being undone the the Last Adam.
